Happy Law Day. If your going to be a law-abiding citizen for only one day this year, it should be today. Law day was created in 1958 to counteract the more “communist” May Day, Labour Day and International Workers’ Day that are celebrated today throughout Europe in honor of the socioeconomic achievements of the international labour movement. Does that mean that Law Day is anti-worker?

1. An association of nations (or forces) for their mutual benefit;comity of nations.
2. The informal, voluntary recognition of the laws and decisions of another court.
3. Courtesy and considerate behaviour towards others; social harmony.
